On May 15th, the New England Belt Sander Racing Association -- which adapts power tools to become humorous racing machines -- hosted a fun-filled day of belt sander racing to benefit Community Servings. Fifty racers competed for coveted trophies, and were judged for awards in various catagories such as "Best Dressed," and "Rookie of the Year." Guests enjoyed Sam Adams Beer, Big Moe's M&M Ribs and live music from the Chandler Travis Philharmonic. In the past 7 years, N.E.B.S.R.A. has raised $23,000 to feed Community Servings' clients that are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
