Farmers' Market

Community Servings' Farmers' Market
Join us on Wednesdays from 4 pm - 7 pm

July 7th - October 20th

Following the success of last year, we're going to continue to offer fresh, local produce at our Farmers' Market! For sale we will have organic fruits, vegetables, honey, eggs, cheeses and flowering plants from Heaven's Harvest Farm and Millbrook Farm; bread and delicious pastries from Blue Frog Bakery. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesdays from 4 pm - 7 pm beginning July 7th at Community Servings (18 Marbury Terrace, Jamaica Plain -- right next to the Stony Brook T-stop)!

In addition to providing access to SNAP and EBT benefits, our vendors will continue to accept WIC and Senior Coupons. The USDA is supporting our Farmers' Market & Nutrition Outreach efforts with money and coupons for Kitchen Talk and Operation Front Line cooking class attendees. Summertime participants in either of these programs will be gifted with Farmers Market Coupons to spend on local foods. Click here to learn how to use SNAP benefits at a Farmers' Market.

Volunteer Opportunities: We're looking for your help setting up, breaking down, and promoting the farmers' market. If you have 3 hours to give Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-6:00 PM or 5:00-8:00 PM and are interested in local food, consider joining us.

For more information on any of the above initiatives, contact Eileen Harrington at 617-522-7777 ext 226 or at eharrington@servings.org.
