Restaurateurs

Frank McClelland
L'Espalier
One of the nation's master chefs, Frank draws residents and tourists alike to L'Espalier in the new Mandarin Oriental hotel for modern New England-French cuisine, including the sumptuous, eleven-course "Chef's Tasting Journey." Graceful and adept service and one of Boston's most impressive wine lists also make the Back Bay's L'Espalier one of our city's best restaurants. In addition to hosting Community Servings' supporters at every LifeSavor, Frank has generously donated his master cooking class to the event's silent auction-as well as pies for Pie in the Sky.

Pie Sellers / Table Captains

Carol-Ann Bond
Pie in the Sky Co-Chair
One day in 2001, Carol came across Community Servings in a search for a non-profit organization that her company could become involved with. Since then, Longfellow has made a financial contribution to Community Servings and closed its office the Tuesday before Thanksgiving so all associates can volunteer at Pie Central to pickup and deliver pies from bakers and to distribution sites. A committee co-chair since 2005, Carol-Ann is also the Pie in the Sky 2008 pie queen -- having sold the most pies with her husband, Chris, and raised over $17,000 for Community Servings.

Sponsors

Community Servings is loco for Boloco! As a top corporate sponsor of LifeSavor, New England's inspired burrito chain has helped Community Servings grow and prosper. The company is involved in so many ways: Boloco's co-founder, John Pepper, serves on our Board and their employees who regularly volunteer in our kitchen. Over the years, Community Servings has also been the beneficiary of sales proceeds from new store openings and special promotions.
