What's More Fun than a Mustache Party?


This year we held our first Sponsor My 'Stache mustache growing fundraiser, and the Mustachio Bashio! During the month of February, Community Servings' 43 mustache growers solicited donations from their friends, families and coworkers and were able to raise $20,000 to help feed the critically ill in Massachusetts. To celebrate the end of the fundraiser, Community Servings held the Mustachio Bashio at City Table in the Lenox Hotel. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and delicious 'stache inspired cocktails were served throughout the night. Community Servings' celebrity 'stache judge Jenny Johnson of NECN picked the skimpiest, bushiest and most original mustaches. Generous donations from the sponsors of the event, allowed one-hundred-percent of the proceeds to go directly to Community Servings meals and nutrition program.

All in all both the Sponsor My 'Stache fundraiser and the Mustachio Bashio were tremendously successful. In total Community Servings raised $25,000 to feed their clients who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
