Community Servings is excited launch a Farmers' Market on Wednesdays from 4 pm - 7 pm beginning July 7th at our home in Jamaica Plain. For the second season Community Servings is hosting CSA (local organic fruits and vegetables), and new this year a CSF (fresh local fish)!

Our meals program improves our clients' quality of life, health, and ability to perform daily activities. Along with lunch, dinner and a snack, we deliver a message reminding our sick neighbors that they are not alone in their struggle with life-threatening illness.

Chef's Granola - This recipe is a healthful breakfast or snack. The ingredients are easy to find at the store and the recipe is fast and simple. Dry oatmeal is filled with fiber. Fiber can help you stay full in between meals or snacks. This can help you avoid cravings and overeating and help you stay a healthy weight. Being a healthy weight is an important part of preventing breast cancer. Almonds are full of healthy fats that can help prevent heart disease. Honey is a natural sweetener that gives this recipe a crisp texture when it is baked.
