Ingredients
3 cup Old Fashioned oats, dry3/4 cup sliced almonds
5 fluid ounces honey Cooking Spray (Pam) or 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees2. Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray or spread vegetable oil across the sheet
3. Spread the oats and almonds on the sheet pan evenly
4. Warm the honey in the microwave or on the stovetop until it is heated through but do not boil
5. Pour the melted honey evenly over the oats
6. Stir the oats, almonds and honey for 1 minute
7. Spread the mixture evenly out on the sheet pan
8. Check and turn the mixture every 5 minutes
9. Bake the mixture for a total of 25-30 minutes
Note: watch the edges- they tend to brown more quickly
